Title: Area Sales Manager (Field Sales Role) – Surgical Products

Comp: $75K base, $150K at plan, uncapped, 401K, benefits, expenses, mileage reimbursement.

Overview of the Role:

The Surgical Products Area Sales Manager will be responsible for covering all sales functions related to our surgical products within Western PA, Eastern Ohio, and West Virginia area. This position is ideal for someone who understands the selling environment within the Operating Room to leverage existing business growth and establish new accounts.

Major Accountabilities:

Analyze the local market, develop sales strategies, and effectively execute plans to meet or exceed sales quotas and profit & growth objectives.

Identify organic growth opportunities within the existing customer base and work on a strategy to close those opportunities.

Secure Key Opinion Leader contacts. Develop clinical relationships that engage physicians and medical staff in support of product evaluations.

Cover Operating Room surgical cases and evaluations, in-servicing, hit sales quotas, grow current business as well as hunt for new business.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Marketing or a related field.

Medical Device sales experience with the ability to obtain and maintain hospital credentialing is required.

Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a Medical Device sales position is required, surgical products, OR sales experience required. ASR Medical Sales experience is also accepted.
